In addition to the dual track in Acupuncture (Chinese and Japanese styles) and Chinese Herbal Medicine, I studied Classical Chinese Medicine and Craniosacral Therapy. In 1998, I enrolled in the New England School of Acupuncture, in Boston. I graduated three years later, with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Trager is a gentle, nurturing, hands-on approach to healing that I now integrate with Chinese bodywork. StillPoint’s origins can be found in New York City in the late 1980’s - Tai Ji classes and visits to a Chinatown herbalist were my introduction to the Chinese Medical Arts.Īfter a three-month stay in India, I completed training in Trager Psychophysical Integration. Currently, I am in a course of study with Gary B. I have been certified by Sloan Kettering Hospital in NYC for acupuncture as a complimentary therapy for cancer patients. Additional studies included the full curriculum at Zheng Gu Tui Na including: Zheng Gu Tui Na massage, mobilization techniques, orthopedic acupuncture, trauma medicine & Qi Gong for rehabilitation and injury prevention. Post-graduate studies included assisting my mentors, Frank Butler and Tom Bisio, in their respective acupuncture practices in musculoskeletal conditions and traumatic injuries. I am board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. In 2004 I received a Masters Degree in Science & Traditional Oriental medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, NYC.
